Ast, a young African-American female scholar makes a trip to an African country in search truth, self and love but also to serve the neocolony with her rare skills. Soon after arriving at the airport she gets into trouble for a document found on her. What seemed like trouble for her ends with a friendly encounter with the head of security in the West African neocolony. Following this, her journey unfolds through more trouble, uncertainty and ultimately fulfilling love. This work questions the role of government in bringing about the much-needed liberation after independence. Its major contribution however is the need for education in Africa to reflect reality and with this an overhaul of the curriculum used to teach in Africa. Ablueprint for the overhaul is provided for subjects such as history.
